Jeremiah 27:6 God said: I now have given all these lands to Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, – My servant.
Pastor Arnold Murray summarized that: God is in control and used King Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, to slaughter and capture God’s “chosen” Jews and Jerusalem – to teach them a lesson. This King was an enemy of the Jews, yet King Nebuchadnezzar actually wrote a portion of the Bible.
Lewis Smedes: Commitment in theater is also true in preaching a sermon. On Friday night I wrestle with my doubts – is it really true? On Sunday morning I can preach on the same subject so committed undoubtedly. On Monday, I might be wrestling with doubts again.

Holman Bible Dictionary: Saul did NOT struggle to eliminate Baalism.
Saul named his son “Eshbaal” (man of Baal). I Chronicles 8:33.
Jonathan had a son, “Merib-baal” (I Chronicles 8:34).
David named a son “Beeliada” (Baal knows I Chronicles 14:7).
Here is certain evidence that “God’s chosen” always kept homage with the god, Baal.
